Gallery 21 Show - Artist Instructions
October 5 - 18, 2021
Artists can exhibit up to 5 paintings, plus 1 extra to replace a painting that sells. In addition, 2 small paintings (10" x 12" or smaller) may be exhibited. Bring your own easels/stands to display the smaller paintings, and label if the stands are for sale or not.
Artists are also welcome to bring unframed, matted works (up to 10 per artist), cards, gift wrap paper, and other products for sale during the duration of the Gallery 21 show. These should be securely wrapped and clearly labeled with artist name, title, and price. It is up to the individual artist to create a detailed inventory of these items for their own records. Provide a copy of the list of unframed, matted paintings to the check-in team.

Key Dates
- Submit painting titles and prices to Joanne Sullivan before - Friday, October 1
- Drop off paintings - Tuesday, October 5, from 7:30 am - 9:30 am
- Hanging (by professional hanger) - Tuesday, October 5, from 9:00 am - Noon
- Open House - Saturday, October 9, 11 am to 6 pm
- Pick up paintings - Monday, October 18, between 4 and 5 pm
Fees
- No entry fee this year
- 20% of all sales go to Gallery 21
- State tax not collected, each artist is responsible for paying state taxes on items sold
- If a debit/credit card option is used, CBPS will pay the transaction fees
Exhibitor Requirements
Exhibit Information
- Must be a current (paid) member in order to participate
- Paintings must be for sale and reasonably priced
- Paintings must not have been previously exhibited at Gallery 21
- Ensure paintings (including small paintings) meet the artwork presentation guidelines
- Label the backs of paintings (including small ones) with name, title, price, and contact info; labeling template for download and use painting label tags
- Participating artists are expected to sit at Gallery 21 for two shifts; sitting sign-up, gallery sitting guidelines
- Participating artists are expected to sign up for one or more of the various tasks associated with the show; task sign-up
- If submitting a scroll, attach a photo and print the dimensions on the scroll box
- If your painting is on silk be sure to let Joanne know when you submit your painting titles/prices
