First Sale at 2015 Show

<"Birds in the Kapok Tree"
by Joanne Sullivan>
Joanne Sullivan's painting of "Birds in the Kapok Tree" was the first  to sell at the CBPS 2015 exhibit at the San Diego Botanic Garden.

The kapok tree is a beautiful  subject, especially for an exhibit in the Botanic Garden -  its  colorful flowers are exquisitely represented in Joanne's painting. A giant in the rainforest, the kapok is a haven for birds and other creatures. It is found in the tropical regions, including the West Indies where Joanne was born.

The CBPS exhibit at the SD Botanic Gardens runs until Thursday November 19th.
