Our show at the Borrego Art Institute was well received and we got many positive comments on our artwork. The artist reception was well-attended.
Several paintings sold, as well as a number of unframed matted works and other smaller items. Participating artists enjoyed their time in the desert community of Borrego Springs; and found peace, quiet, and inspiration from the surrounding desert landscapes.
Discussions ensued for a Borrego Springs plein aire painting retreat in the spring, particularly if the El Nino rains bring spectacular wildflowers to the desert.
