The 2016 annual show at Spanish Village in Balboa Park showcased over 80 original Chinese brush paintings representing the work of 16 local brush painters. Many people visited the Gallery during the two week exhibit, and a half dozen paintings sold as well as numerous cards and unframed, matted works. Despite the inclement weather, the artists’ reception on October 30 was well attended, and those in attendance were very engaged in learning about this art form.
