The San Marcos Library contacted CBPS to have one of our artists demonstrate calligraphy at their Chinese New Year celebration on January 25, 2017. Lisa Curry wowed over 100 attendees painting Chinese characters, in both the traditional style and the more artistic running style. Lisa engaged many of the children by giving them some hands on experience in grinding ink and cutting paper with a wet brush.
